FAMILY AND VETERAN OWNED

Best place ever I drive up there every year from Castle Rock Co. I’ve been to all of the other stores and all the sales hype. This place treats me right and they remember me plus you get more bang for your buck pardon the pun.

We happily make the 3-hour trek up to this place every summer to get a nice big stash! They have hands-down the BEST prices, massive selection, and the most awesome staff! Family-owned and run, supports veterans, and they’re just so helpful and kind

OUR STORY

WHOLESALE FIREWORKS

Started in Kansas in 1988 by Richard Krehbiel and Sandre Krehbiel. Richard, an Air Force veteran always had a knack for entrepreneurship. Richard was involved in carpet stores, hotel ventures, and even the restaurant business, but nothing captivated the Krehbiel family’s attention quite like selling fireworks. After the first summer of sales they were hooked! What started as a family venture and one store quickly became 300 stores in 13 different states. Shane (one of Richard’s sons) was helping run the Midwest region. Shawn(another one of Richard’s sons) was helping run the Southeast region. Skyler and Sheena (grandkids) were helping out at one of the flagship stores in Kansas. Unfortunately, in 2002 Richard was diagnosed with colon cancer, and unsure what would happen he decided to sell the business. Cancer free for several years Richard decided to get back out to Wyoming where he spent many years as a kid and acquired some fireworks stores.

Today, Wholesale Fireworks continues to thrive, fueled by the same love for family, freedom, and celebration that inspired it from the beginning. Shawn, Shane, Skyler and Sheena are still very much involved with their family’s and run the day to day operations. Skyler started a sister company named “Krazy Bull Fireworks” which pays homage to all of the Krehbiel’s that have been in the pyrotechnics industry. Our last name is pronounced (Kray-Bull) so with the kids saying “crazy” as “cray” now it was a really cool play on thing we could run with. Thank you to our customers and all of your continued support and loyalty throughout the years. You are an extended part of our family and we can’t thank you enough!
